Chessington World of Adventures is packed to the rafters with rides. One of the best things about it is that everyone, no matter what their age, can find something they’ll love to try out.

It’s certainly a good experience and it is also a good one for younger children to try. Provided they get on the ride with an adult, kids who are at least 90cm tall can enjoy the thrill of the runaway train. Of course half the fun comes from being in the mined surroundings too.

Wild Asia is the newest land to be added to the theme park. It has been common practice to keep updating and reinventing sections of the park to keep it fresh and interesting, and Wild Asia is just another example of this tactic. Its main ride to entice visitors in is the KOBRA.

One of the best things about the Dragon Falls ride is that it isn’t over and done with in just a minute or two. It takes about four minutes to go round from start to finish – although we should say that you are likely to be a lot wetter when you finish than you were to start with.

Many people say the Vampire ride is one of the best ones in the entire park. It is certainly one of the thrill rides and as a roller coaster it does rank as one of the major ones that have height restrictions in place. But it is also regarded as being tame enough that younger children can try it out. Make no mistake – it will scare you on the way round (this is in Transylvania after all) but it is a thrilling experience and one that many kids enjoy. It could even turn out to be their first ever roller coaster – and one of many more to come as well.

One of the main things people tend to do when they visit Chessington is to go and enjoy the delights of Chessington World of Adventures. But if you think this is all there is to do in the area you should think again – it has plenty more surprises in store for you as well.
