Surrey is a popular place for lots of people to live as well as to visit. But one of the most popular places in Surrey is a town called Chessington. Whereabouts is Chessington?
The town itself is situated just inside the M25 Orbital Motorway, towards the south western corner of the road. It is north west of Epsom and to the east of Esher. Chessington World of Adventures is well signposted from the M25 as well, as many people come from all over the area and from beyond as well to visit the park all through the year.
Kingston upon Thames is not too far north of the town, and the small settlement of Hook is only a short distance further along from there, on the A243.
Is it easy to find?
Yes it definitely is. The key is that it doesn’t really matter where you are travelling from, since the town is signposted and clearly accessible in a number of different ways. Many people drive there and take the M25 once they get closer to the area, but of course it depends on where you are coming from in the first place.
